Meet the winners of a $35,000 home renovation

For 35 weeks between March and November, we ran a contest with the Toronto Star to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their New in Homes section. Up for grabs was a prize worth $35,000 to put toward a new home or a renovation to be redeemed with a BILD member. There were 6,235 entries from readers across the GTA and beyond.

Deadline looming for Reno Awards nominations

Submissions for BILD’s 2013 Renovation and Custom Home Building Awards are closing in on the deadline, with less than a month left to be a part of this annual event.


RenoMark gets an official endorsement from the province

Homeowners in the GTA know what a renovation can do for their homes. Just in 2011 alone, more than $23 billion worth of home renovations were completed in Ontario. Not only did this boost homeowners’ property values, as well as the economy, it helped create 211,000 jobs in the home renovation industry, according to the Ontario government.
