On March 11, the National Home Show kicks off with 10 days of interesting exhibits, exciting celebrities and the latest in everything connected to your home.
The Show once again shares the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place with Canada Blooms, Canada’s largest flower show. One ticket gets you into both shows for the ultimate home, garden and flower experience.
BILD and its 1,450 member companies in the land development, home building and professional renovation industry in the Greater Toronto Area are proud to bring you this year’s show. We care about homes. They are our business and that’s why we started the National Home Show in the 1950s.
Our membership covers everything connected to your home, from builders and renovators to contractors, designers, decorators, manufacturers and suppliers of all types of home-oriented products.
Many of our members will be exhibiting at the Show. Just look for the BILD logos next to their booths.
Many of our renovator members will also be volunteering at Destination Renovation, our feature exhibit offering visitors free unbiased renovation advice from RenoMark™ professional renovators. The exhibit also features dozens of inspiring before-and-after photos from our annual Renovation and Custom Home Awards. Find it all at Booth 2130.
Be sure to visit the Dream Home feature, a National Home Show staple that dates back to the 1950s. This year’s home is the FutureDreamHome, created by BILD member Probuilt Design+Build. It features beautiful architecture and design fused with sustainable new cutting-edge technologies, building techniques and materials.
Speaking of technology, the Best Buy Smart Home showcases the latest in smart home tech, including security solutions, lighting, appliances and entertainment. This is a brand new addition to the National Home Show and a great resource for anyone looking to learn about and play with the latest devices connected to your home.
Another exciting feature is the Eat and Entertain Kitchen presented by Sears. It showcases live intimate demonstrations from culinary experts cooking with the latest appliances. Attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about the latest trends in kitchen design.
If you are looking to freshen up the look of your kitchen, check out the Love Your Kitchen feature, presented by Lowe’s and Nimble. It’s a great way to get hands-on with a kitchen cabinet installation, and an opportunity to really understand how your dream kitchen will work before you start your project.
The National Home Show runs March 11-20 at the Enercare Centre at Exhibition Place. Tickets can be purchased online at www.nationalhomeshow.com.
