Column Series on Development Charges

BILD President and CEO Bryan Tuckey has dedicated his Toronto Star column space to explaining the complex issue of development charges to the newspaper’s readers. The series focuses on the work that BILD Chapter members do throughout the year as various municipal and regional development charges by-laws come up for review across the GTA.

Out of more than 6,200 excellent entries, we named the Ferguson family as the winner of a $35,000 prize to put toward a new home or a renovation. Well, the four-week renovation project is complete and it’s a total transformation!

Meet the winners of a $35,000 home renovation

For 35 weeks between March and November, we ran a contest with the Toronto Star to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their New in Homes section. Up for grabs was a prize worth $35,000 to put toward a new home or a renovation to be redeemed with a BILD member. There were 6,235 entries from readers across the GTA and beyond.
