Awards season is upon us!
If you follow BILD or at least have a slight interest in the industry, you’ve no doubt heard about our Renovation and Custom Home Builder Awards.
Not only is this an exciting time for the renovators, but it’s sure to get some attention from homeowners as well. Why? Because we’ll have a beautiful display of some before and after shots at the Destination Renovation booth (2523) at the National Home Show, which kicks off on February 18th and runs for 10 days.
The Reno Awards will be presented on the Show’s opening day as part of BILD’s Industry Luncheon. While it has always been a popular event, I’m expecting an even bigger turnout this year because Tim Hudak, Leader of the Official Opposition and Leader of the Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario, will be featured as the keynote speaker!
If you’re interested in attending, there’s still a few seats left. I’m betting on over 300 attendees showing
up, not to mention some of our friends from the media.
Speaking of media, BILD’s social media campaign is now just over two weeks old and from what I can
tell, it’s been coming along quite nicely! I noticed today that Stephen Dupuis’ column in Metro News
climbed to the Number One spot on Reddit today, where it stayed for over five hours!
Let me know what you think about our progress at the Industry Luncheon. Looking forward to some
comments on my new status as a blogger!
PS: Go easy on me, I’m new at this!
