BILD announced the recipients of the 2013 Associate Awards at its Annual General Meeting on December 4.
The Associate Awards were created in 2004 to recognize BILD’s associate members for quality, service, professionalism, leadership and innovation when working together with a builder or renovator on delivering a new home or renovation project.
Unlike other awards handed out by BILD, Associate Awards nominees are evaluated by their clients as opposed to a judging panel.
Completely Wired Corporation was the recipient of the Trade Contractor of the Year award for their professionalism, customer service and ability to make deadlines. The communication and integration company is backed by over 15 years of experience, a long list of successful projects and an even longer list of repeat business.
The Manufacturer/Supplier of the Year award was presented to Olympia Tile + Stone. This is the third time that the company has won this award. In business for more than 50 years, Olympia has been described as professional, determined and always bending over backwards to please its clients.
The award for Service Professional of the Year was awarded to Peter McCann Architectural Models Inc. Established in Toronto in 1983, the firm is based on a solid foundation of attention to detail, craftsmanship and excellence. Previous clients have praised it for its workmanship, detail and capability to consistently meet tight deadlines.
“I want to congratulate this year’s winners and thank them for representing our association with professionalism, leadership and innovation,” said BILD president and CEO Bryan Tuckey. “Our associate members are an integral part of the reason our industry continues to build quality, complete communities across the GTA.”
With more than 1,400 members, BILD, formed through the merger of the Greater Toronto Home Builders’ Association and Urban Development Institute/Ontario, is the voice of the land development, home building and professional renovation industry in the Greater Toronto Area. BILD is proudly affiliated with the Ontario and Canadian Home Builders’ Associations.
