Revered for their professionalism and commitment to excellence, Eurodale Developments has been named Renovator of the Year by the Building Industry and Land Development Association (BILD). The duo behind the renovation firm that had a banner year in 2010, Brendan Charters and Jim Cunningham, received the coveted award on opening day of the National Home Show at the Direct Energy Centre at Exhibition Place.
“Eurodale partners Brendan Charters and Jim Cunningham represent the new generation of professional renovators, combining design savvy with solid technical and business skills. This award demonstrates their commitment to satisfying their clients and their success in this respect typifies BILDs overall objective in creating the award in the first place,” said BILD President and CEO Stephen Dupuis.
A quick glance at Eurodale’s resume reveals that the firm made headlines last year after building an inventive modular Dream Home in eight days for the 2010 National Home Show. The home was also the first to be removed and re-used.
Charters is a trained carpenter responsible for the firm’s customer relations, while Cunningham, a trained architectural technologist, makes sure projects are managed effectively and efficiently.Their business has been built on referrals, they say, so BILD asked a few former clients to describe their experience with Eurodale. One said the level of professionalism was excellent, another said there were no surprises and results were delivered on time, and another said the company went above and beyond to make sure the client would be living in their dream home.
The Renovator of the Year award is bestowed to a renovator who sets the standard for the rest of the sector in their leadership and commitment to customer service, as well as contributing to the overall image of the renovation industry.
Congratulations to all this year’s nominees. Many thanks to everyone who supported us today.
